LaunchPost Chrome Side Panel BETA

The extension lets a signed-in LaunchPost user create, review, approve, and schedule LaunchPost social posts from Chrome's side panel.

Data the extension handles

The extension handles user-generated draft content, the selected connected social destination, a requested schedule date and time, and authenticated LaunchPost session data available inside an open LaunchPost tab.

How we use and share data

The extension relays data only to the signed-in user's LaunchPost workspace to save drafts and carry out scheduling actions the user explicitly requests. It does not persist draft content, account data, authentication tokens, browsing history, or page content in extension storage. The extension sends requests only to LaunchPost; LaunchPost's existing service infrastructure processes the requested product action.

Permissions

The extension uses Chrome's side-panel permission to open its interface and the tabs permission to find an already-open LaunchPost tab or open the LaunchPost sign-in page. Its host access is limited to local development and LaunchPost's staging host. It does not read or operate on other websites.

Limited Use

LaunchPost's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data deletion

To remove a connected social account from LaunchPost, open Settings, find the account, and choose Disconnect. LaunchPost removes the stored publishing credential and can no longer publish to that account. Meta can also send LaunchPost a signed deletion request when you remove LaunchPost from Instagram or Threads; LaunchPost then deletes the matching provider-linked connection and credential records.

To request deletion of your remaining LaunchPost account data, use the private account deletion page while signed in. The request is tied to your authenticated LaunchPost account, so you do not need to publish any personal information or credentials.
